Network and witeless connection disabled, and use broadband on line. I also tried to uninstall the audio tool delivered by C-media, this thing has some nifty features but maybe it conflicts somehow which result in such audio crap.

Connection was there, but refused, nevergless was donloaded to Download Express and from there managed it. Thank you very much for all of your help!

Confused – is Onbooard – how is this C-Media? However when I manually force-install the provided Win95 driver — it works, and I get access to the Windows mixer.

Wander how can put any sound into recently downloaded new, to replace old.

Do you have those problems inside Windows, or when booting into DOS? Slot A2 has MB. Also seems there is something else.

Installing the drivers for the wrong brand of chip usually results in chaos, except in Windows 95 So I resorted to physically examining the chips on the board itself, to see if it is labeled with the Realtek “crab” or with the C-Media logo. I have Soyo motherboards in wc97 all of my machines 2 of them with the PE Lite, same as yoursso I have the drivers for almost all of their Intel processor boards archived.
